Project Summary
Dashte Azadegan oil field is located in west of Khuzestan
province. Development of this field began in 1999, with an
estimated production capacity of 260,000 barrels per day. This
development is scheduled to take place in two phases
- 1st phase; Production of 150,000 barrels of oil
and 135 million cubic foot gas per day (started in 2004)
- 2nd phase; Production of 260,000 barrels of oil
and 235 million cubic foot gas per day (will be started in
2010)
The telecommunication part of the project is intended to meet
communication requirements in both stages of development of the
field and normal operation. Pars Saman is engaged in this
project as provider of Detail Engineering, Procurement and
Installation Management Services for the telecommunication
systems of the project, and as a partner to Sazeh Consultants
Co, we shall review and modify the previous designs provided by
the consultant of project four years ago, in order to match the
new design with the developing needs of the project.
Scope of work

In stage one, the voice and data facilities must be provided for
the development and construction facilities, wellheads,
pipelines, Residential and supporting facilities. This comprises
of a number of removable cabins encompassing VSAT receivers,
radio mobile systems, modems and required accessories.
In stage
two all Voice, Video and Data Communications required by the
client during routine operation of the oil field shall be
provided, including Wellheads, four Manifolds, Water Intake
Area, CTEP Area, residential Camp, and areas along the pipeline.
The following systems and equipment shall be supplied in this
project:
- Telephone Communications System: IP Based PABX, Fax And
Telephone Sets (both indoor, outdoor, explosion and weather
proof telephone sets)
- Public Address Systems (PA/GA), including Explosion
Proof Equipment and Separate Residential Camp PA
- IP Based Closed Circuit Television Systems (IP CCTV) in
order to have real time video of well head and manholes in
local and central control centers
- Wide Area Network ( LAN/WAN Data Communication Systems)
via fiber optic physical backbone both in local and central
plants
- Radio coverage for the whole plant area, wellheads and
manifold and also access roads by means of UHF Trunked Radio
System and Mobile Radios
- Aeronautical Navigation Radio Communications
- VHF Radio coverage along the export pipeline
- Telecommunication Self Support Tower and accessories
- Telecom Security Systems in Plant facilities
- Residential Area Entertainment Systems
- Outside Plant Copper and Fiber Optic Cable
- Power Supplies and Power Back up
