Kermanshah Province Gas Company has issued this project to design and implement an Electronic Security and Surveillance CCTV System with a telecommunication backbone for its facilities in Kermanshah and its suburbs and this project is carried out under the supervision of Central Security Office of petroleum ministry.

As the remote CGS stations are unmanned, there will be a secure Radio backbone for CCTV traffic transportation to a monitoring station which is called Emergency activities Station. For this purpose, ISM band (5.8 GHz) Spread Spectrum Radio system has been considered. Furthermore a Perimeter Monitoring and Protection System (PMPS) and an Access Control system (ACS) is included in our solution to provide more security for the warehouses’ stations.

Scope of work

Kermanshah Security Systems project is one of the most important projects initiated by Central Security Office of Petroleum Ministry and will be implemented in 5 stations: Kermanshah Gas Company central office, Warehouse, Kianshahr CGS station, Sarabghanbar CGS station and Emergency activities station.

This project includes three subsystems as below.

Surveillance Cameras
Cameras are considered in order to monitor all operations in the facilities and are all of analog type with Ingress Protection Min IP66, also they comply with all necessary codes and standards. They have been chosen from Panasonic Company, and are all using Line lock technology so that they can be synchronized with the frequency clock of AC input voltage supplied by UPSs.
Radio Systems
Due to occasional presence of operators in remote CGS stations, acquired images of only four cameras in each CGS station is transmitted to the Emergency activities station in order to monitor main areas. Thyonet broadband wireless radio EROSA400 which is one of the best alternatives for wireless networks has been chosen. This Radio operates in 5.8 frequency band and complies with all standards including IEEE 802.11a
Perimeter protection system with Access Control System (ACS)
For additional security, the warehouse station will be equipped with a perimeter monitoring and protection system and an ACS System. This system is based on wireless technology and consists of a Central Control Panel and several 120m range Microwave Sensors.
