Project Summary
I.O.O.C. has required the design and implementation of a
security surveillance CCTV system with a telecommunication
backbone for its facilities in Kish Island and this project is
carried out under the supervision of Central Security Office of
petroleum ministry.The aim of this project is to equip two Gas
Distribution Stations, and Kish Island I.O.O.C. Central Office
with an Electronic Security and surveillance CCTV System. As the
two CGS sites are unmanned, there will be a secure backbone for
CCTV traffic transportation to a monitoring station In Central
Building. For this purpose a series of Wavestar Spread Spectrum
radios (5.8 GHz) are foreseen.
Scope of work
Kish Island Security Systems project will be implemented in 3
stations; Kish Island I.O.O.C. Central Office, CGS Station 1 and
CGS Station 2, and it includes two subsystems
- Surveillance Camera (Indoor, Outdoor) Cameras
shall be installed to monitor all operation in the
facilities. They have been chosen from Panasonic Company and
have shader resistance for straight rays of sunlight. Also
all cameras use Line lock technology so they synchronize
themselves with the frequency clock of AC input voltage
supplied by UPSs.
- Radio Transmission System Due to occasional
presence of operators in remote CGS stations, acquired
images from cameras must be monitored in stations other than
host station which is the Central Office. For this purpose
Wavesight Company product has been chosen, which is a
ruggedized, secure, intelligent outdoor wireless radio
system specially designed for video surveillance
applications. This multi channel radio has wireless range up
to 16Km and has compression system including MPEG-4 advanced
audio encoding at 16K sample rate and 16bit resolution.
