T&T Sistemi, an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, has been operating in industrial automation, system integration, engineering and software development and technical consulting since the early 60s, with the Headquarters in Montevarchi (AR), the Company has got two associated branches in Florence and Milan and representative foreign branches worldwide.

Company Expertise

The core business of the company is based on automation solutions for oil and gas plants and transport applications. Nevertheless, due to high level of similarity, tailor-made automation solution can also be provided for other industries. These solutions are designed and supplied by related competence departments in the company based on the requirements of the customer. The range of services of the company are as follows

• Electronic or Pneumatic Panels construction (for safe area installation but also for hazardous area installation)

T&T has a research & development department with high technical capacities, especially for oil & gas applications. As an example, the following development projects have been carried out in this department:

• Gas turbines governor based on PLC hardware architectures
• Steam turbines governor based on PLC hardware architectures
• Antisurge protection for centrifugal compressors integrated on PLC
• Dynamic simulators, for simulating the standard signals like digital and analogue, but also for dynamic simulation of rotary machines like steam turbines, gear box, generators, centrifugal compressors and so on. Factory acceptance test is made with dedicated dynamic simulators so the protection and control systems can be supplied fully tested.
• Protection systems based on SIL architectures (according to IEC 61511 and IEC 61508).
• Controllers for speed control, antisurge control, performance control, load sharing control.

The Company represents a dynamic organization with integrated R&D, Production and Commercial activities, and it utilizes internal company resources and employee skills to provide complete solutions, from preliminary engineering and concept, to installation, test and start up. The technical stuff are led by licensed professional engineers with solid background in automation and control as a result of their collaboration with large buyer Corporations in a wide range of industries like yachting, oil & gas, energy, transport, service, and monitoring. The Company has accumulated an extensive knowledge throughout its 30 years life span, and owns a number of patents for the products and technologies developed inside it.
